GRANITO OVAL

The Granito Oval, like the Granito, consists of multiple Backstitches made in the same holes.
The difference here is that you're not trying to fill in a circle.
It is more common for Granitos to end up looking like Granito
Ovals than the other way round.
This stitch makes a lovely little raised leaf or petal, common
in Whitework and in Madeira Embroidery. |
